At the same time as I decided to start underwater finishing the idea of making my own fishing implements arose in me as well. A serious challenge, somebody would say almost impossible, but my dream to make a speargun by myself, catch a fish with it and then go through it all again at a good dinner with my family and friends represented a strong motivation to start working on it. My stubborn and somehow ungovernable nature which does not allow me to stop at the first obstacle was helpful.

After careful preparations and after a lot of advice from underwater hunters the first speargun SEA SILENCE was constructed and followed by eight prototypes of different forms and lengths. I had the guns tested and on the basis of the information gathered the first OSA (Wasp) was constructed.
The OSAS are made of slowly growing burmese teak, while the connecting bar is made of Slovene ash. The use of tools is minimised, I place emphasis on the traditional manual work. Every OSA is a unique product protected from moisture and parasites by two layers of epoxy resin, while its shine comes from thirteen layers of two-component varnish.
Anatomically designed gun’s handle allows its simple and rapid shifts in the water. For a complete mesh of the palm grip, the guns’ handles arecustom-made- fittingto the hands of each individual.
After the installation of rubber bands, the grinder, the activating mechanism and the string – all the above indicated constituent parts come from the neighbouring Italy – every product is personally tested in the pool as well.
